CRHS Announces New Activities Director

The Twin Falls School District #411 Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Ted Reynolds will be the Activities Director at Canyon Ridge High School for the 2022-23 school year. They made this announcement Monday, April 11 at their regularly scheduled board meeting.

Activities directors at the high school level are tasked with the management of a comprehensive activities program, which includes athletics and competitive activities like drama and debate.

Reynolds currently works as activities director and assistant principal at Ridgevue High School in the Vallivue School District, where he has worked since 2020. He is not new to activities in the Magic Valley. Reynolds previously served as the activities director at Twin Falls High School from 2017 to 2020. 

Prior to coming to Twin Falls, he worked as the athletic director and assistant principal for Middleton High School where he completed six years with the Middleton School District. Reynolds worked for most of his career in Bonners Ferry where he taught eighth-grade science for 13 years, was assistant principal and athletic director for 8 years, and served as the head football coach. Reynolds started his career in education in 1988 in Navajo, New Mexico where he taught sixth-grade math and science. Reynolds has a teaching degree from Montana State University and received his administrative degree from the University of Idaho.

Reynolds and his wife, Lori, who also works in education, have two grown children, Kylee and Carey who live in the Boise area.

“I am honored and excited to be the activities director for Canyon Ridge High School. I look forward to working with the coaches, staff, students, and community. I believe Canyon Ridge has the potential to do great things and I am excited to be part of that process.” Reynolds said. 

Reynolds will take over for current CRHS Activities Director Sean Impomeni who is taking the head football coach position with Ridgevue High School.
