Dr. Dobbs Announces His Upcoming Retirement

After 14 years as the superintendent of the Twin Falls School District, Dr. Wiley J. Dobbs announced Wednesday, September 28 that he will be retiring in September of 2017.

In a letter to the TFSD Board of Trustees, Dobbs said, “I thank you for the opportunity to serve as superintendent in the best school district in the State of Idaho for going on 14 years.  It is a pleasure to work with such an outstanding school board and a world-class District Office Administrative Team (DOAT).”

The timing of the announcement will allow the school board to do an exhaustive search for Dobbs replacement and will allow time for Dobbs to work with the replacement before he leaves his post.
