Dr. Dobbs Raises Funds for Cancer Research

Throughout the month of October, Dr. Dobbs participated in a campaign to rais awareness and funds for breast cancer research. All month long, Dr. Dobb wore pink as part of this Real Men Wear Pink program. He enlisted the help of TFSD staff to support the campaign with donations and also participated in the October Walking Challenge. As the winner of the Magic Valley Walking Team with 227 miles, Dr. Dobbs was awarded $1,000 for the charity of his choice, the American Cancer Society. At the end of last week, Dr. Dobbs had collected $3,055, beating the $2,500 set by organizers. As part of the challenge, Dr. Dobbs offered himself as a guest teacher for one lucky donor. Terri Speicher of Morningside Elementary School was drawn as this grand prize winner! Congratulations, Terri, and many thanks to those of you who helped with this worthwhile endeavor!
