Advanced Opportunities
Twin Falls High School students can take advantage of the state funded Advanced Opportunities program. Students can receive up to $4125 to help pay for high school overload classes on IDLA, dual credit classes offered through the high school, IDLA or an Idaho college/university, workforce training, certification exams, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams. Please see your school counselor for more information.
Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA)
IDLA is a supplementary online program that allows Twin Falls High School students to have options and flexibility with their education. IDLA offers most core subject classes as well as several elective classes that are not offered by TFHS. They also offer dual credit and AP classes. All classes are offered as a traditional semester class, but there are many core subject classes offered as a flexible class for students who want to work on their own pace.
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Twin Falls High School offers many AP courses that could earn students college credit and make any transcript look more competitive.
Dual Credit Courses
Dual credit courses provide TFHS students with the opportunity to simultaneously earn both high school and college credits. Many of our high school teachers are certified through CSI to teach college level class here at the high school earning the students dual credit without having to leave our campus. Students can also earn dual credit by taking classes directly from CSI (on campus or online) or through IDLA.
