TWIN FALLS -- The Twin Falls School District Board of Trustees has announced the timeline for the hiring of a new superintendent for the TFSD #411. In November, the Board voted to enlist the Idaho School Board Association (ISBA) to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The ISBA posted the job opening in January and it will remain open until February 10. The Board is committed to a transparent, nation-wide search to find the candidate who will be best for the district. To accomplish this, the ISBA has begun advertising the opening across the country and is currently collecting applications. Below you will find a brochure developed by the ISBA that is being used to attract the very best candidates to apply for the position. Within the brochure, you will find a timeline of important events related to the hiring of the new superintendent. The Board of Trustees and ISBA tentatively plan to make the superintendent announcement on April 3.
The planning for the hiring of the district’s top official comes after Dr. Wiley Dobbs announced his intent to retire this past fall.
