The Twin Falls School District Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Rachel Youren as the new Director of Fiscal Affairs for the Twin Falls School District. The new administrative hire was approved at the board meeting Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021.
Youren has worked in education finance for the TFSD for the past two years. Youren received a Bachelor’s in Accounting in 2018 from the University of Idaho, graduating summa cum laude. Youren is a licensed Certified Public Accountant through the state of Idaho. During her undergraduate studies, Youren served as an accounting tutor. Youren will fill the role of Director of Fiscal Affairs starting in July 2021 upon the retirement of the current Director of Fiscal Affairs, Bob Seaman.
“I hope to continue to support our schools with the best interest of our students, staff, and community in mind,” Youren said. “I aspire to ensure that district information remains accurate and transparent to maintain trust with all stakeholders.”
