Celebrating Partnerships - TFSD Celebrates Parent Organization Appreciation Day

The Twin Falls School District is recognizing September 25 as Parent Organization Appreciation Day, a time to honor the many parents and family members who dedicate their time and talents to supporting students and schools.

Parent organizations in TFSD come in many forms, including PTAs, PTOs, booster clubs, and parent advisory committees. All of these groups play an essential role in fostering family engagement, strengthening school communities, and enhancing the educational experience for every student.

“Family engagement is one of the most important factors in a child’s success in school,” said TFSD Superintendent Dr. Brady Dickinson. “We are so fortunate to have parents and guardians who volunteer, fundraise, and serve in leadership roles to make our schools stronger. Their work helps us provide opportunities that simply wouldn’t be possible otherwise.”

Across the district, parent groups contribute by organizing community-building events, raising funds for student activities, supporting athletics and the arts, and advising school leadership on important initiatives. Their ongoing commitment demonstrates the power of community partnerships in public education.

On this day of appreciation, TFSD extends a heartfelt thank you to all the parents, guardians, and family members who generously give their time and energy to support the success of our students.
