Dennis Brown with co-workers

The Twin Falls School District and the Twin Falls Education Foundation proudly recognize and thank Dennis Brown for his extraordinary service and dedication to local education. A founding member of the Foundation, Brown has been an active and instrumental volunteer since 1991, helping shape the organization into a lasting pillar of support for Twin Falls School District students and staff.

In the early days of the Foundation, Brown helped lay the groundwork for a system through which the community could enhance and expand educational opportunities. He worked closely with local business leaders to more than double the originally planned size of Roper Auditorium, transforming it into a performance space that now seats more than 1,000 people. Under his leadership, the Foundation also established a robust system of endowments that continues to provide lasting support for programs across the district, from speech and debate to music education.

Over the past three decades, Brown has played a vital role in guiding the Foundation’s mission to enhance educational opportunities across the community. Under his leadership and commitment, the Foundation has distributed over $3 million in support of Twin Falls School District schools. These funds have helped launch innovative educational programs, equip classrooms with essential supplies, and celebrate the outstanding work of educators through recognition and awards.

“Dennis has been with us since day one, and his passion for public education is evident in everything he does,” said Mandi Thompson, Board President of the Twin Falls Education Foundation. “His steady leadership and tireless volunteerism have left a legacy that will benefit generations of students.”

Brown’s long-standing service is a testament to the power of community involvement in public education. His efforts have made a measurable difference in classrooms throughout the district and have inspired others to give back.

“Dennis Brown’s contributions to the Twin Falls Education Foundation—and by extension, to the entire Twin Falls School District—are nothing short of remarkable,” said Dr. Brady Dickinson, Superintendent of Schools. “His vision helped create opportunities for students that simply wouldn’t have existed otherwise. From building lasting partnerships to ensuring our programs have the resources they need, Dennis has been a quiet but powerful force behind the success of our schools for more than 30 years.”

The Twin Falls Education Foundation and the Twin Falls School District extend their heartfelt thanks to Dennis Brown for his years of unwavering support, leadership, and belief in the importance of strong public schools.
