The Twin Falls School District is pleased to announce that Samantha Mauch has been selected as the new Associate Principal at O’Leary Middle School, beginning in the 2026–27 school year. Mauch currently serves as Associate Principal at Lincoln Elementary School and brings a diverse background in secondary education and instructional coaching to her new role.

Mauch will take over the position from the outgoing administration as she transitions back to the secondary level. Her deep roots within the O’Leary community and her experience across multiple district programs make her an ideal fit for the middle school leadership team.

“Ms. Mauch brings with her a brilliant intellect, strong sense of determination, and a love for teaching and learning,” said OMS Principal Ace Marcellus, “She is going to be an amazing asset to our school, and I am so happy to have her join us."

Mauch is a familiar face at O’Leary Middle School, where she spent 11 years teaching mathematics and STEM. Following her time at OMS, she taught at Twin Falls High School before expanding her leadership impact as an Instructional Coach at Bridge Academy and Magic Valley High School. For the past three years, she has served as the Associate Principal at Lincoln Elementary School, gaining valuable administrative experience at the elementary level.

“I spent 11 wonderful years teaching Math at OMS, years that shaped me as an educator and knowledge that I have carried with me into every building I have served in since,” said Mauch. “Each experience has given me a unique view into our educational system across all grade levels and learning environments. I am thrilled to return to the O’Leary community in this new capacity.”

Mauch’s excellence in the classroom and her leadership potential have been frequently recognized by her peers; she was named the Twin Falls School District Teacher of the Year in 2021 and was selected as the Teacher of the Month in February 2021. She is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Mauch holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Idaho State University and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University.
