The Twin Falls School District is pleased to announce that Brady Trenkle has been selected as the new Activities Director at Twin Falls High School, beginning in the 2026–27 school year. Trenkle currently serves as the District Athletic Director for Minidoka Schools and brings a wealth of athletic administration and collegiate coaching experience to his new role.
Trenkle will take over the position from Shaun Walker, who recently stepped down to become Principal at Wood River Middle School. Trenkle's arrival marks a homecoming, as he is a 1994 graduate of Twin Falls High School.
Since 2019, Trenkle has overseen 24 sports and activity programs across Minico High School and two middle schools, managing over 100 coaches and staff members. Prior to his successful tenure in athletic administration, Trenkle spent nearly two decades coaching collegiate basketball. His career includes serving as an assistant coach at Youngstown State University and the College of Eastern Utah, as well as head coaching tenures at Garden City Community College and Dodge City Community College, where he guided numerous athletes to four-year universities and oversaw program compliance, budgeting, and fundraising.
“We are excited to welcome Brady back to the home of the Bruins,” said Nancy Jones, Twin Falls High School Principal. “His experience managing multi-school athletic programs, combined with his background at the collegiate level, makes him uniquely qualified to lead our activities team. He understands what it takes to build a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and student engagement. He will continue to build a culture of excellence in our activities and amongst our students and staff.”
Trenkle expressed great enthusiasm about returning to his alma mater to lead the Bruins' athletic and activity programs.
“I’m so excited to return home to TFHS. I feel like my life has come full circle, and now, years later, I’m right back where I started,” said Trenkle. “Getting to come back and work alongside the people I grew up with is just incredible. I am truly excited to wear the Bruin Blue once again. Go Bruins!”
Trenkle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
