RSMS students are about to rock the house with Olympus: The Greek Rock Musical! From thunderous vocals to god-level performances, our crew is bringing Greek mythology to life with electric energy, humor, and heart. Zeus would approve!

January 28-31 at the CRHS auditorium. Don't miss out - we're sure this show will be truly myth-ical!

“Professor Duran” (aka a 7th grader) took charge of the classroom, confidently leading a highly engaged group through a quiz review. His trusted assistant, Mrs. Hall (aka the math teacher), provided the problems for the class to tackle.

Our middle school scientists got hands-on with a static electricity experiment, and let’s just say… hair stood on end, giggles filled the room, and curiosity was fully charged! From balloons sticking where they shouldn’t to discovering how invisible forces can do some pretty cool things, learning was anything but boring.

Nothing like a little static to spark big thinking!

January is so boring.... cold, foggy, nothing to do. But wait! There is something to do! Come hang out with your classmates this Friday, January 23, at our annual Snowball Social. Play games such as chess, checkers, Pop-a-Shot, axe throwing, and Pickleball, create drama (just kidding), buy a snack (pizza, drinks, chips), and listen to music. The fun, sponsored by Student Council, begins at 4:00. Buy a $5 Fast Pass this week so you can skip the long line.

Back to School

Before winter break, our lunch ladies served up a holiday lunch full of cozy cheer —savory ham, hearty potatoes, fluffy rolls, and the grand finale… sweet cupcakes that disappeared faster than winter break excitement!🧁😄

We’re so thankful for the love, care, and delicious magic they bring to our school every day. Our bellies (and hearts) are full.❤️

Christmas Break
Our Lost & Found is officially at max capacity and featuring rare artifacts like:
• Hoodies - so many... oh so many - enough to keep an exploration group in Antarctica warm and cozy
• Water bottles with mysterious stickers (and some with mysterious things growing inside them)
• Jackets that definitely belong to someone (we heard a few sobs from them because they are missing their owners)

Students and parents—please swing by and reclaim your treasures before they go on their next adventure (aka donation center). They will disappear Friday afternoon (December 19).

The halls are about to be louder, brighter, and way more fun. Break out the jingle, the sparkle, and the spirit. Bring on enough cheer to power us through until winter break. ❄️

Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,

In consultation with Idaho Power, we are happy to share that power will be restored to our campuses momentarily. A Squirrel, let’s call him Sparky, took out the substation. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Power Restored
Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,

We are currently experiencing a power outage across several of our campuses. Our staff members do have access to cell phones for emergency purposes. We are currently working with Idaho Power to determine the anticipated restoration time for power to our buildings. We will communicate with you as soon as we have this information. At this point, students are being served lunch, and we anticipate being able to continue school this afternoon until the normal dismissal time. As a reminder, during power outages, your calls are forwarded to the district office, where staff members can relay messages to our school as needed. We ask that families use this option only in an emergency to avoid overloading our systems.

POWER OUTAGE
We've got dramatic actors, enthusiastic actors, and actors who are being bribed with snacks to participate! We've got props held together with hot glue and hope, and an ongoing mystery of whether lines are memorized, kind of memorized, or, "I'll read it off of the back wall and hope nobody notices" memorized.

Nonetheless, the students are working hard to put on a great show for us. We really are proud of our 7th Graders who have the courage to perform on stage. Come check it out! And, whatever happens on the stage...well, we're all going to be talking about it at school the next day!

Some of our PE students took part in a modified CHAD 1000x challenge on Veterans' Day. The 8th Graders completed a minimum of 500 step-ups. After school, PE teacher extraordinaire, Mrs. Kauffman, took the challenge to the max and completed 1000 step-ups using a 12-inch box and a weighted vest. (Are your thighs hurting just from reading this?!)
