Did you know that over 300 students in the Twin Falls School District have already been identified as homeless this school year? These students face unique challenges, like not knowing where they’ll sleep at night, which can make it difficult to focus on school. From Dec. 9–31, TFSD is joining the Avenues for Hope campaign to raise $5,000 to help meet their basic needs. Together, we can support these students so they can focus on their education. 🍦✨ At Canyon Ridge, Freshman Foundations teacher Kristy Oberg is inspiring her students with a unit called "My Pursuit of Happiness"! 🌟
Students explored how happiness impacts our lives and discovered ways to boost their joy and success. As part of this engaging lesson, they researched why ice cream shops are often filled with happy people. To bring their findings to life, Mrs. Oberg led a fun activity where they made Ice Cream in a bag and discussed how this increases happiness! 🥳
What a fun way to look at the science behind happiness and a bonus was a delicious treat!🍦
