Mrs. Victor's class recently had some fun creating Picasso style self portraits to go with their "All About Me" writing activity.

The 5th grade students at Rock Creek Elementary had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Franklin, head of the Twin Falls School District Science Department and Chemistry and Physics teacher at Canyon Ridge High School, for an exciting science presentation! Mr. Franklin captivated students with a series of hands-on experiments that demonstrated both physical and chemical reactions. This experience provided a meaningful, real-world connection to the concepts they are currently studying in class. The students were absolutely thrilled, and teachers are confident this opportunity will inspire their curiosity and enthusiasm for science for years to come!

Mrs. McCray’s and Miss Renner’s classes participated in a football draft. Each student has a football team that is theirs for the year. They will use these teams to apply their math, writing, and more to. On top of having real world connections to their learning, they are learning what being a good sport and team member means.
