✨ Let’s give a round of applause to Perrine Elementary’s Classified Employee of the Month, Natalie Barrow! ✨

Ironically, Natalie didn’t always enjoy reading. But after high school, the right book (and person!) changed everything. Now, she’s helping spark that same love in others. Natalie is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, especially those who aren’t neurotypical. Using the inspiration she found in her oldest son’s school experience, she brings care and intention to her role every day and works hard to create a welcoming space where students can grow into confident readers who truly love books.📚💙

Congratulations, Natalie!🎉Thank you for the positivity and encouragement you bring to Perrine every day!

Principal’s Note:
“I am thrilled Natalie has been recognized as Perrine’s Classified Employee of the Month. She is kind, nurturing, a great listener, a problem solver, and passionate about helping students. She is a great coworker and team member. Natalie is always willing to help with whatever is needed. In her position, she sees every student in our school and has numerous positive interactions each day with them. I appreciate everything she does for our staff, students, families, and me personally. Thank you for all you do, Natalie. This recognition is well deserved.”

From O’Leary to Yale and back again!🎭

James Wright, a junior at Yale University and graduate of Twin Falls High School, recently returned to his former drama class at O’Leary Middle School, bringing members of his improv troupe, Just Add Water, along for the experience. 8th-grade students jumped into improv warm-ups and scene creation, learning firsthand from someone who once sat in their same classroom. The troupe visited drama and theater classes across the district, showcasing how TFSD students can pursue their passions at the highest levels.

What an inspiring full-circle moment! ✨

There were plenty of April Fool’s shenanigans across our schools!

At Bridge Academy and Canyon Ridge High School, Mrs. Atchison and Ms. Amy teamed up to seriously confuse students by swapping out mayonnaise for whipped topping and banana/cheesecake pudding 🤯 Safe to say…it worked! Staff and students alike were left guessing 🤭
Thanks for creating moments of fun and connection for our students. We love to see it! 💙
