Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,

In consultation with Idaho Power, we are happy to share that power will be restored to our campuses momentarily. A Squirrel, let’s call him Sparky, took out the substation. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Power Restored
Hello CRHS, Perrine, Lincoln, Sawtooth, TFHS, Harrison, RSMS, and MVHS Families,

We are currently experiencing a power outage across several of our campuses. Our staff members do have access to cell phones for emergency purposes. We are currently working with Idaho Power to determine the anticipated restoration time for power to our buildings. We will communicate with you as soon as we have this information. At this point, students are being served lunch, and we anticipate being able to continue school this afternoon until the normal dismissal time. As a reminder, during power outages, your calls are forwarded to the district office, where staff members can relay messages to our school as needed. We ask that families use this option only in an emergency to avoid overloading our systems.

Over 300 students in the Twin Falls School District are already experiencing homelessness this school year. That means not knowing where they’ll sleep tonight or where their next meal will come from—a huge barrier to learning and growing. From Dec. 10–31, we’re joining the Avenues for Hope campaign to raise $5,000 to help provide food, hygiene supplies, and resources for extracurricular activities. Together, we can give these students the stability they need to focus on school and thrive.

Students researched, discussed, and debated passionately as they tried to persuade the other side to join their cause. A fun and engaging way to experience history firsthand!

At TFHS, Ms. Greenwood’s astronomy students are bringing the night sky to life by creating three-dimensional constellations! 🌌 Each star is carefully plotted using its accurate magnitude, distance, and Greek letter designation.

Students research and record each star’s apparent magnitude, absolute magnitude, and distance from Earth to position them precisely in 3D space.
