✨🎭MVHS sophomore and senior English classes have been diving into Shakespeare's masterpieces with a creative twist! 🧦🎨 The sophomores, exploring Twelfth Night, brought the Bard’s comedy to life with delightful sock puppets. Meanwhile, MVHS seniors, crafted mini sets with popsicle stick puppets to reenact their dramatic scenes of Macbeth. 🎭🪵 And let’s just say, the results were as entertaining as they sound—laughter and applause all around! 😄👏 #MVHS #ShakespeareFun #PuppetShow #CreativeClassrooms #12thNight #Macbeth #StudentProjects

🌟 Community in Action! 🌟 This past Saturday, the Patriot Flag used at the 9/11 memorial had to be dropped into the river. But thanks to the TFHS Marching Band, help was on the way! 🎶💪 As they were rehearsing nearby, our dedicated students quickly jumped into action to assist in drying the flag. ❤️ After helping out, the band was able to finish learning their drill, showcasing their commitment both on and off the field! #TFHSMarchingBand #CommunityHeroes #PatriotFlag #TogetherWeRise

Applause to Lisa Blake for being the Certified Employee of the Month for September! She is the Pottery teacher at Canyon Ridge High School. Lisa is originally from Burley, Idaho. She chose this career because of her high school art teacher. Lisa originally started teaching painting and drawing and did not like pottery. She took on the task when asked and now prefers it. Her best day on the job was when she got her first teaching job and realized that college worked! Her inspiration comes from the world around her and her favorite hobby is organizing and being creative. A word that best describes her is inspirational and she wants to be remembered for inspiring others to find their creative outlet. One thing people don’t know about her is that she does not have a cell phone. One of her pet peeves is riding in the car with angry drivers and the number one item on her bucket list is to learn Spanish. Principal Note: Lisa is an awesome person and teacher here at CRHS! Her classes are always full and students love her classes. Her students know that she cares about them and they always have great things to say about her. We are very fortunate to have her here with us!

Congratulations to Jessica Mathes, Certified Employee of the Month for September! Jessica is a Language Arts teacher at Twin Falls High School. Jessica grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She chose her career as a Language Arts teacher because she loves reading and writing, and loves to share that with others. She is always hoping to spark a love of language in her students. Her best day on the job is any day a student lets her know, either verbally or through a note or card, that she helped them learn and grow. That is what keeps her going. She hopes to be remembered as someone who cares and tries to give her best to her family and work. Her inspiration comes from her family and her favorite hobbies are reading, yoga, and spending time outdoors. The word that best describes her is resilient and her pet peeve is incorrect grammar and spelling, as she says “I do teach English.” Principal Note: Jessica Mathes is a cornerstone of our English department and collaborates with others to help our students set and achieve personal and academic goals. She exemplifies leadership in both word and action within the Bruin community for staff and students alike. Not only is she a highly respected and effective teacher, but she also serves as a valuable resource for our junior and senior advisors, aiding our staff in guiding students through junior boards and senior projects. As a Source of Strength lead advisor and dual credit Yoga teacher, she equips our students with strategies to tackle life’s stressors positively and sustainably. She has an exceptional ability to put others at ease and is always eager to lend a hand. Jessica is truly deserving of this award, and TFHS continues to shine because of individuals like her.

Kudos to Tiffany Jordan for being the Classified Employee of the Month for September! Tiffany is an Administrative Secretary at Twin Falls High School. Tiffany is originally from Jerome, Idaho, and has been a part of the TFSD for 17 years. She started by coaching volleyball and basketball and a short time later became an Athletic Secretary at TFHS. She then took a full-time position at Canyon Ridge. A year ago she became an Administrative Secretary at Twin Falls High School and she loves every minute back at the Blue! Her best day on the job was working at Canyon Ridge High School where her son became the first State Champion Wrestler, a day she will never forget. Her inspiration comes from her mom and dad because they are the two hardest-working people she knows and have always instilled hard work and motivation in her. She hates it when people are late and her favorite hobby is camping and 5 AM Crossfit workouts with her bestie. She is an open book. She is married to Michael Jordan, Michael E. Jordan. She is enthusiastic according to her husband but she would call herself reliable. Her number one bucket list activity is to take a trip to Italy with her momma and she hopes to be remembered as a kind, trustworthy, and loving person. Principal Note: Tiffany Jordan stands out as one of the most positive and diligent individuals I’ve ever known. When faced with a task or a challenging situation, she approaches it with persistence, determination, and optimism. She answers phones and welcomes parents, students, and community members who enter our school with kindness and is always ready to help in any way. She can always be relied upon to participate, include others, and be generous with other staff members and students. Having her as my secretary makes my role and the many related tasks so much easier to accomplish. Her eagerness to learn new things and her proactive involvement in ensuring our school operates smoothly make her a huge asset to the Bruins. She is an invaluable member of Twin Falls High School and very deserving of this honor.
