🎉 Congratulations, Stephanie Banse Olsen – Classified Employee of the Month! 🎉
Stephanie is a Behavior Para at Sawtooth Elementary School, and we’re proud to celebrate her as October Employee of the Month.
Originally from Twin Falls, Stephanie enjoys hiking, camping, and dreams of visiting all the National Parks one day. Described best as determined, she finds inspiration from the kids she works with and her co-workers. Stephanie believes this career chose her.
When asked what the best day at work is, she simply said:
“Every day is the best day. It’s all about perception.”
💬 One thing most people don’t know? Probably her age!
🐾 Pet peeve? When people don’t make an effort.
💖 Legacy? Being remembered as someone always willing to help.
📣 Principal Note:

In 4th grade at Pillar Falls, students are learning about Natural Disasters and how communities help each other stay safe. To bring the lesson to life, Mrs. Hulet and Mrs. Vining shared Avalanche Bags and demonstrated how they help keep people safe while riding snowmobiles. Hands-on learning makes a big impact!

CRHS students have been released for lunch. Classes will continue as normal this afternoon. Thank you to the TFPD for their quick response in ensuring the safety of our campuses.
CRHS has been checked by law enforcement, and all areas of the building are safe. Law enforcement continues to verify that this report was, in fact, a false report. We will continue to keep you informed as the CRHS campus returns to normal. The lockdown will be lifted momentarily.
📣 Early Dismissal Alert! 🕒
We're wrapping up the 1st quarter, and that means early dismissal on October 17!
🟠 PLEASE NOTE: MVHS will follow its regular schedule that day.
#EarlyDismissal #SchoolUpdate #TFSD #EndOfQuarter #ParentReminder

CRHS is on lockdown due to a call to dispatch that appears to be a swatting report. Emergency responders are on campus. We will provide additional information as soon as it becomes available.
Last month our secondary teachers were hard at work with Dr. Alcock this week, digging into curriculum mapping. 📚✏️ This process helps ensure that learning is aligned, consistent, and sets students up for success across all grade levels and subjects. Big thanks to our teachers for the thoughtful planning that keeps student learning at the center of everything we do!
