🍦✨ At Canyon Ridge, Freshman Foundations teacher Kristy Oberg is inspiring her students with a unit called "My Pursuit of Happiness"! 🌟
Students explored how happiness impacts our lives and discovered ways to boost their joy and success. As part of this engaging lesson, they researched why ice cream shops are often filled with happy people. Applause for Jessica Miller, Certified Employee of the Month! She is a Title 1 teacher at South Hills Middle School.
Jessica is originally from right here in Twin Falls, Idaho. She chose this career to inspire others to rise above their struggles. The best days on the job are family nights! She loves planning, organizing, and working with students and staff to invite families to learn together. She is best described as action-oriented and draws inspiration from her peers, students, and family. Her favorite hobby outside work is following her three daughters on their many softball adventures. Most people don’t know Jessica used to drive an NHRA dragster at 160 mph in 8 seconds! Her biggest pet peeve is not refilling the toilet paper roll. And she would love to go on an exotic vacation to somewhere warm. Jessica wants to be remembered as a partner in brainstorming, problem-solving, learning, and growing together.
Principal Note:
Jessica is passionate and relentless at finding solutions for students in our school. She is an advocate for students, families, and peers. Jessica is one of the hardest-working people I know. I think even in her dreams she is action-planning and helping others. She is a mentor and leader to others and she is the heart of our school.

🥞👮♂️ At MVHS, Ms. Parra’s Culinary Advancement class had a fantastic breakfast with the Twin Falls Police Department! It was a wonderful opportunity for students and officers to connect and share a delicious meal together. 🍳✨
