This morning, Bridge Academy proudly held its first-ever flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the installation of a new flagpole on campus.
Students from the TFHS Military Leadership program led the event, sharing lessons on flag etiquette, the meaning of the American flag, and their own educational journeys and future plans in military service. One student, Adam Woodman, reflected on his time at Bridge Academy:
“This was the start of my rising… This school gave me tools to get to where I am today.”
We were honored to be joined by Rep. David Leavitt (District 25), County Commissioners Don Hall and Rocky Matthews, TFSD Trustee Heidi Casdorph, Twin Falls City Council Member Chris Reid, members of the American Legion Post, and other community supporters.
The ceremony concluded with the entire Bridge Academy student body gathering outside to take part in the ceremonial raising of the flag and the Pledge of Allegiance.

This week, teachers and staff spent time helping students learn classroom and school expectations, from how to walk in the hallway 🚶♂️, to playing safely at recess 🛝, to enjoying lunch in the cafeteria 🍎. These lessons lay the foundation for strong relationships, a caring school culture, and safe learning environments. 💙

The first day of school in the Twin Falls School District is coming up on Monday, August 18 and we are so excited to kick off the 2025–26 school year with all of you.

The Dual Immersion program offers students the chance to become fluent in both English and Spanish while building strong academic skills and cultural understanding. It’s open to all students, and no prior Spanish experience is needed.
