🎓 Congratulations to two MVHS students who earned their diplomas this term! This achievement highlights the unique value of our alternative high school program—meeting students where they are and helping them cross the finish line. 🏁 Whether it’s a full pathway to graduation or just that final semester, MVHS offers the flexibility and support every student deserves.

One graduate was new to our school, the other returned to finish what they started—both are now ready for what’s next! 👏

CRHS College Application Days! (1)

🎉 Student Spotlight: Noah Williams, Canyon Ridge Senior 🎉

We’re proud to share that Noah Williams, a senior at Canyon Ridge High School, will be representing CRHS and the Twin Falls School District in Boise next week!

Noah is one of only ten finalists for the prestigious United States Youth Program — an incredibly competitive educational experience, where applicants have just a 0.08% chance of being selected as finalists. Finalists will travel to the Idaho State Capitol to complete exams and interviews before a panel of government representatives, testing their knowledge of history and government.

In December, two winners will be announced who will travel to Washington, D.C. in March. The U.S. Senate sponsors two students from each state to attend “Washington Week” as delegates. 🇺🇸
Good luck, Noah — we’re cheering for you!

In addition to this remarkable accomplishment, Noah also applied to three U.S. Service Academy summer programs — and was accepted to all three! With acceptance rates of 10% or less, he attended programs at West Point, the Naval Academy, and the Coast Guard Academy.

We’ll find out in December whether Noah receives a nomination from a government official to attend one of the academies for college. If nominated, he’ll be able to apply to that academy for admission. Currently, he is ranked among the top 15 candidates in Idaho for West Point! 💪🎓

Mandie was born and raised in Twin Falls. She enjoys playing Pickleball and dreams of one day traveling to Italy!

🔹 One word to describe her: Caring

🔹 Fun fact: She’s an extreme overthinker
🔹 Pet peeve: Loud chewing

🔹 How she wants to be remembered: As kind and thoughtful
🔹 Best day on the job: Any day she can be helpful to a student, teacher, or parent 💛

📣 Principal Note:
Mandie is an invaluable member of the office staff. 🔥🐉 At O’Leary Middle School, Marion Johnston’s 8th grade math classes took on an exciting challenge—transforming How to Train Your Dragon images using dilations!

By applying the scale factor rule (x, y) → (7.2x, 5.2y), students enlarged each shape. ✏️📐

The results? Enlarged versions of the original artwork and a deeper understanding of math in action. The students were so proud to see their hard work come to life! 💡🎨
