School lunch is essential, even when school is out! ☀️

Service in action! CRHS students in the Just Serve Club delivered over 200 weekend food packs to Harrison and Perrine Elementary Schools. Each pack is filled with easy-to-prepare meals and snacks to support students who rely on school for nourishment during the week.

These food packs will help ease food insecurity for kids over the weekend—and we couldn’t be prouder of our students for stepping up to serve. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this possible! 🙌

Even before the last school year ended, our elementary instructional coaches were preparing to support the District’s first-year teachers for 2025–26.

Before school started, new teachers attended training on district expectations, curriculum, and programs like CHAMPS, Bridges, and Wonders.

Coaches followed up by giving them the chance to observe veteran teachers in action and ask questions.

Perrine Elementary, Ms. Waugh’s 4th-grade class learned how to build a strong paragraph—identifying the topic sentence, supporting details, and conclusion.

They edited, typed final drafts, and even illustrated their work to create an “Our First Paragraph” Class Quilt!

📜Students in Ms. King’s class celebrated history by recreating the signing of the Constitution—complete with feathered quills and three-cornered hats!

They worked together to write their own classroom Constitution, then each student signed it using a quill and paint. A fun and memorable way to bring history to life!

CRHS Engineering teacher Todd Anderson spent 4 days in Boise at the Advanced STEM Research Teaching (ASRT) program, sponsored by the Idaho STEM Action Center.
