Felicitations to Angie Gilbert! Certified Employee of the Month for February. Angie is a Consulting Teacher for Support Services. Angie is from Jerome and she chose her career to empower others. She gains inspiration from her grandparents and is described as passionate. She enjoys gardening, preserving, and audio books. She would like to be remembered as a kind person that people can trust. Her best day on the job was when she was recognized for her efforts by being named Employee of the Month. Supervisor Note: Angie is a dedicated leader who excels in sharing her expertise, fostering professional growth and equipping our Support Services team with the tools and knowledge needed for collective success. She has gone above and beyond by stepping in to support schools when consulting teachers are unavailable and has taken the lead in training staff on 504s, IEPs, and clerical procedures. Kudos to Tom Vela! Head Custodian at Magic Valley High School and February’s Classified Employee of the Month. Tom is from Burley, Idaho and he chose his career because he likes the routine.
