O’Leary Middle School 7th graders dove into microscopy this week, spotting all the microscopic details that make living things tick.
Science rocks! 🌟

With over 700 people served, it was a powerful reminder that no one should feel left out.
A huge thank you to the No One Eats Alone leadership advisory for organizing such a meaningful event.
We also want to give a big shoutout to our community partners whose support helped make this event a success. Together, we’re building a more connected and compassionate school community. 💫

On Tuesday, Sept. 30, the halls were alive with culture, flavor, and music as we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in style!
Families and guests toured beautifully decorated classrooms, each honoring a Spanish-speaking country.
Afterward, we came together for a delicious dinner and a spectacular evening program featuring:
✨ Traditional dances from Mexico and Colombia
🎶 Amazing student performers from Bickel, Harrison, and local high schools
🎤 A show-stopping performance by the Young Mariachi Group of Magic Valley!
Thank you to our incredible students, families, and community for making this night unforgettable. 💃🎺❤️

Before the trip, students researched real-world challenges archaeologists face, then had the chance to ask expert Aarianna Harmon thoughtful questions and explore possible solutions.
They wrapped up the visit with a fun team-building challenge that strengthened their collaboration, listening, and problem-solving skills — all key as they prepare for their upcoming robotics season!

🎉 Student Spotlight: Noah Williams, Canyon Ridge Senior 🎉
We’re proud to share that Noah Williams, a senior at Canyon Ridge High School, will be representing CRHS and the Twin Falls School District in Boise next week!
Noah is one of only ten finalists for the prestigious United States Youth Program — an incredibly competitive educational experience, where applicants have just a 0.08% chance of being selected as finalists. Finalists will travel to the Idaho State Capitol to complete exams and interviews before a panel of government representatives, testing their knowledge of history and government.
In December, two winners will be announced who will travel to Washington, D.C. in March. The U.S. Senate sponsors two students from each state to attend “Washington Week” as delegates. 🇺🇸
Good luck, Noah — we’re cheering for you!
In addition to this remarkable accomplishment, Noah also applied to three U.S. Service Academy summer programs — and was accepted to all three! With acceptance rates of 10% or less, he attended programs at West Point, the Naval Academy, and the Coast Guard Academy.
We’ll find out in December whether Noah receives a nomination from a government official to attend one of the academies for college. If nominated, he’ll be able to apply to that academy for admission. Currently, he is ranked among the top 15 candidates in Idaho for West Point! 💪🎓
