TFSD Selects New Oregon Trail Principal

The Twin Falls School District #411 Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Tana Schroeder will be taking the role of Principal at Oregon Trail Elementary School for the upcoming school year. They made this announcement on Tuesday, March 12.

Schroeder is currently the acting principal at Oregon Trail Elementary School, a role she has held since the fall of 2023. Schroeder has worked in education for 9 years. She started her career as a third-grade teacher at Harrison Elementary School in 2015 where she taught until 2018. In 2018, Schroeder transitioned to Lincoln Elementary School where she served a variety of roles including third and fifth-grade teacher and instructional coach. In 2023, Schroeder started the school year as associate principal at Oregon Trail Elementary School.

Schroeder holds a Bachelor’s in Education from Western Governors University, which she received in 2015. She received a Master’s in Reading Education from Arkansas State University in May of 2021 and an Education Specialist Degree in educational leadership from Arkansas State University in December of 2021.

Schroeder will fill the role previously held by Tyler Matlock who transitioned to an administrative role at Canyon Ridge High School earlier this year.
