TFSD Asks All Bus Riders to Register

It is an exciting time in the Twin Falls School District. We are happy to announce the opening of two new elementary schools. The addition of these new schools will create opportunities and space at all of our schools. Over the past few months we have been working with Western States Bus to improve our transportation services for students who are eligible to ride the school bus. WSB has developed new routes and bus stops which will make bus rides shorter and more efficient.

At this time, we need the school community’s help. To be proactive, all students who will be using bus service need to register so that we can start our transportation services for the 2016-17 school year smoothly. Parents may have received a questionnaire in the past asking about bus service and we appreciate the preliminary information that was provided.

Attached you will find the official bus rider registration form, which is more detailed than the previously distributed questionnaire. We ask that parents fill out this form for any student who will be riding the bus. You can also submit the form online at the Twin Falls School District Website http://www.tfsd.k12.id.us/. Please submit this form by Aug. 5 to give WSB time to assign bus stops. By registering your bus riders now, you will help us plan for the upcoming school year. After you fill out this form to register you bus rider, WSB will contact you with information about your bus stop location and time.

If parents and guardians have any questions about bussing in the TFSD, please call Western States Bus at (208) 733-8003.
