TFSD School Board Announces New Robert Stuart Middle School Associate Principal

The Twin Falls School District Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Shannon Greene as the new associate principal at Robert Stuart Middle School. The new administrative hire was approved at a board meeting Tuesday, June 30, 2020.

Greene has been in education in Twin Falls for 12 years. She taught mathematics for 9 years at RSMS. Starting in 2017, Greene served as Instructional Coach at South Hills Middle School providing training and support for teachers to ensure that all instructional staff members utilize best practices to enhance student achievement.

Greene received a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 2008 from Idaho State University and a Master’s in Education Leadership in 2018 from Northwest Nazarene University. Greene has exhibited excellence in education, receiving the Master Educator Premium from the State of Idaho and being named 2015-16 Teacher of Year by the Twin Falls Kiwanis Club. Greene grew up in the Magic Valley graduating from Jerome High School 1993.

“My career in education began at Robert Stuart, I even completed my student teaching there,” Greene said. “I moved to South Hills Middle School in 2017.  Opening a new school allowed me to grow as an educator.  Those skills will go with me as I return to Robert Stuart.  It feels like going home. I am looking forward to being a Bear again!”
